Boxes

Boxes are a type of block. Blocks are available in the post types Blocks or Full, which are expert-level by default. In all other post types, blocks are available when checking advanced/expert mode.

A box can have the following components:

Featured post. Shows the title, featured image, excerpt and optional badge of another post
Headline, headline typing and subheadline
Image with optional caption and optional rich text next to the image
Video with optional caption and optional rich text next to the video
Before – after – pics with optional caption
Content (rich text)
Gallery
More (accordeon with rich text)
Button (link)
Button (file)

A box has the following options:

Colored background
Border
Badge

Colibri moth

Engineer Curran, who is lead driver and in charge of maintenance on Engine 2, runs his own commercial film production company (FIRE ENGINE Productions, Inc.), and he made the film to celebrate the department’s 100th anniversary.

The film begins with clips of board members of the society, one of whom is the late society president Doug Cregar, describing early methods of firefighting, such as bucket brigades and the use of chemicals. Old pictures showed buildings on the Common that burned in significant fires.

The film goes on with late Chief Peter Warren describing his long connection to the department and how members and their families formed a tight-knit community, meeting socially almost every weekend. He also noted several families in Harvard with more than one generation of Harvard firefighters.

Bolton resident Gavin Klein demonstrates the workings of the 1870 George Stephens organ at the Harvard Historical Society in a video filmed by Patrick Vallaeys. The organ was recently restored to better working order in a community-funded campaign led by the Harvard Historical Society.
