About Categories

Categories are used for system purposes. They should only be used by administrators.

 

CAT-debug: Debugging data will be added at the end of the post.

CAT-help: Help pages. Usually appear in the Help dropdown in the top toolbar.

  • CAT-H1: Reviewer level.
  • CAT-H2: Author level.
  • CAT-H3: Editor level.
  • CAT-H4: Administrator level.

CAT-navigation: Navigation posts. Typically one of the Topics.

CAT-Template: post templates. In addition to this category, use the child categories below to indicate which levels will see this template when adding a post.

  • CAT-T1: Reviewers will see this template. Make sure to also check T2, T3 and T4.
  • CAT-T2: Authors will see. Also check T3 and T4.
  • CAT-T3: Editors will see. Check T4 as well.
  • CAT-T4: For administrators.

CAT-Template-description: Describes a template, explaining how to use it and showing the options. In addition to this category, use the child categories below to indicate which levels will see this template description.

  • CAT-TD1: Reviewers will see this template description. Make sure to also check T2, T3 and T4.
  • CAT-TD2: Authors will see. Also check T3 and T4.
  • CAT-TD3: Editors will see. Check T4 as well.
  • CAT-TD4: For administrators.

CAT-Sandbox: Testing posts. They will not appear in any related list.

  • CAT-SBX1: Reviewer level.
  • CAT-SBX2: Author level.
  • CAT-SBX3: Editor level.
  • CAT-SBX4: Administrator level.

CAT-System: Special system posts. Not used for now.

CAT-hide: Means the post should not be shown e.g. in related lists. E.g. Sandboxes, templates, template descriptions should not be shown in the section “related”. Use the categories below to specify where the post should not appear.

  • CAT-Hide-related: don’t show in the lists of related posts.

CAT-Menu-settings: Settings for the navigation menu.

  • CAT-show-picmenu: posts with this category checked will have the picturte menu in the header
