Harvard Historical Society, 215 Still River Rd., Still River, Ma 01467
New England barns are icons of our region’s agricultural past but many have vanished from our landscape to make way for progress. Please join us at the Harvard Historical Society for a presentation that will discuss the Great Elms Barn of Harvard, Massachusetts, and the journey to disassemble, move, and rebuild the magnificent structure in its new location. This event is part of Freedom’s Way: Hidden Treasures.
Each year The Society participates in Freedom’s Way Hidden Treasures with a presentation at a Harvard historical site. We have offered walking tours of Shaker Village sites and the Harvard Common’s War Monuments. In 2019, HHS plans to present one of Harvard’s many agricultural treasures. (see more about Freedom’s Way)
