The 19th century farmer’s almanac was a trusted source for long range weather forecasts, moon phases, full moon dates and times, gardening tips, sunrise and sunset times, home remedies, folklore, and much more. Many even included space for the farmer to keep a daily journal. Join us as we explore the daily entries of Harvard resident Rebecca Turner as she details the life of a mid 19th century Harvard dairy farm.
