A wooden stereoviewer, with a brass hinged fold-up hand. c. 1880-1915. The eyepiece is all wood with two glass square veiwing holes. The wooden piece that holds the slide is movable - to adjust focus for viewer. the sliding piece has metal ends to hold the cards.
This education piece has 34 stereoview slides of all types - art, staged scenes, parades, still life, animals, etc. publihsed by such as Kingstone View Company and Underwood & Underwood. The accompanying slides are 2 pictures mounted next to each other each a slight different angle that when see together with the help of the scope produces a 3D efffect.
