Carlene Phillips has been a writer for the Harvard Press and is the co-author of two historical biographies for young adults.

Carlene Phillips has lived in Harvard, Massachusetts, in an old house of the Little Common since 1975. Her three children and their children have grown up in town. She taught high school English for 30 years and in retirement has been a writer for the Harvard Press and former president of the Harvard Historical Society. She is the co-author of two historical biographies for young adults.
