Fried Fresh Peaches
Shaker recipeNumber of servings: Serves 4-6 as dessert. Use halves as a side dish.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 peaches
- 12 teaspoons brown sugar
- Rose water
Instructions
- Pare, split, and stone the peaches.
- Melt butter in an iron skillet and add the peaches.
- Fill the hollows with brown sugar and a drop of rose water.
- Simmer until well cooked.
- Serve with meats as a garnish or as a dessert with whipped cream or ice cream.
